In 2003, LeaderDrive started to research and develop the harmonic drive technology, use our unique design theory.

In 2009, the first precision LeaderDrive harmonic drive reducer prototype has been completed and also tested and evaluated in our testing center.

During 2010, the standard precision LeaderDrive harmonic drive reducers had been produced, which are successfully-tested in many institutions of home and abroad.

In 2011, LeaderDrive was entrusted to draft the national standard of harmonic reducers.

In 2012, LeaderDrive reducers are successfully-tested in several international robot manufacturers, at the same time, we set about exposing the LeaderDrive harmonic drive reducers to the market.

In 2013, LeaderDrive launched 14 series nearly hundred kinds of harmonic drive reducers and recognized by the market. The annual production and sales came to 3, 000 sets.

During the year of 2014, the national standard GB/T 30819-2014 Harmonic Gear Drive reducers for Robot made by LeaderDrive was published on 24th Jun, and been put into implementation on 31st DEC, 2014.

Due to the recognition of the market, the production and sales of LeaderDrive came to 10, 000 sets in the year of 2014.

LeaderDrive harmonic drive reducers are highly spoke of its good performance since they appeared on the market. To meet the needs of customers from abroad, the subsidiary of LeaderDrive- Suzhou Leader Harmonic Drive Co., Ltd has been established in August 2015, and mainly in charge of the international sales and promotion.
